eClinicalWorks integrates VAULTs industry leading products into their self check-in solution

Healthcare today is more complex and challenging than ever. Due to regulations, mandates, and constant changes in how care is delivered and paid for, providers need better tools to help them keep their focus on caring for patients. eClinicalWorks, a premier leader in electronic medical records, penetrated the market and catered their software to meet the challenges of the ever-changing medical industry. Based in Massachusetts, the software serves
as a practice management and personal health record
service to healthcare providers.

The Challenge

Shortly after entering the EHR marketplace, eClinicalWorks decided to expand upon their standard product line and release an eClinicalWorks kiosk app. This app would streamline the check-in procedure and enable patients to use an iPad to make an appointment conveniently. While the release of the app was a success and received a high participation rate amongst patients, the clunky kiosk hardware wasn’t efficient in waiting room areas. eClinicalWorks were in need of a robust kiosk to integrate into their self check-in solutions.

The Solution

Partnering with VAULT, eClinicalWorks found a solution that could be easily integrated into their self check-in portals. Built from VAULT’s PRO and STABILITY product lines, the solutions are engineered to deliver years of service while being able to fit any waiting area layout. The addition of the innovative Docuvue accessory assists patients in capturing full frame images of license and insurance cards and aims to ensure accuracy by putting patients in control of their uploaded data.
